Somdev,Prakash win

Somdev Devvarman and Prakash Amritraj moved to the pre-quarterfinals of the 1,25,000 ATP Challenger event in Seoul,Korea. Fourth seed Somdev advanced after Rik de Voest conceded his match when the Indian was leading 6-3 2-0. Prakash scripted a convincing 6-3 6-1 win over Kyu Tae Im.

Chirag move to top of the table

Mohammed Rafi scored two goals but Kolkatas Chirag United came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw in their I-League match against Mahindra United in Mumbai. Josimar scored his second goal of the match in the 78th minute to help Chirag earn a draw and go to the top of the table.

Nasri,Fabianski could return

Midfielder Samir Nasri and goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski could make their first appearances of the season following injury in Arsenals Carling Cup fourth-round tie against Liverpool. Steven Gerrard is out of the tie,but Rafael Benitez has made it clear Alberto Aquilani will be in the squad.
