Sachin Tendulkar was the only Indian in the Wisden all-time Test XI announced on Wednesday.
Apart from Tendulkar, former Pakistan speedster Wasim Akram is the only player from the sub-continent to find a place in the XI announced to mark 150 years of the the Cricketers8217; Almanack.
The all-time XI was dominated by English players. As many as four English players found a spot in the list.
The team announced on Wednesday has got mixed reactions with many not happy with the selection. Sports commentator and presenter Alan Wilkins didn8217;t understand the presence of Hobbs and Grace in the same team. He further said that there has to be a time frame when we decide on such teams.
When companies like Wisden Almanack name their all-time World XI,there has to be a time factor. How can Hobbs and Grace be in that team?
