Nearly 100 civilians were killed in clashes across Syria,activists said,with the majority dying in a fierce onslaught by government troops on the city of Homs.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said,69 people died in Homs yesterday and its nearby villages while other 13 died in the northwestern province of Idlib.
However the Britain-based group said another 16 people died in clashes in other towns including one in Aleppo,and 15 near the capital Damascus.
