Jos Buttler made an unbeaten half-century as England shrugged off Clint McKays hat-trick to win the fourth one-day international against Australia by three wickets to set up a series decider on Monday. Buttler guided England,chasing 228 for victory,home in Cardiff with three balls to spare after hitting 65. McKay got Australias defense to a good start with the wickets of Kevin Pietersen,Jonathan Trott and Joe Root in the third over. For Australia,George Bailey made 87.

Dhawan to lead Sunrisers

Batting sensation Shikhar Dhawan will captain Sunrisers Hyderabad in this years Champions League Twenty20 beginning on Tuesday. The left-handed opener has been entrusted with the responsibility after Sri Lankan veteran Kumar Sangakkara decided to play for his home side Kandurata Maroons in upcoming tournament. Dhawan will lead the Hyderabad outfit which boasts of players like former West Indies skipper Darren Sammy,J P Duminy,Dale Steyn,Cameron White etc. Dhawan,who missed the first seven matches of this years Indian Premier League due to a hand injury sustained in the Mohali Test,was the leading run-getter for Sunrisers,scoring 311 runs in 10 matches at 38.87.

Chawla shines in Somerset win

Uttar Pradesh all-rounder Piyush Chawla continued his decent showing in the upper division of English County Championship as his side Somerset beat Surrey by seven wickets to log home five points. Chawlas performance in the match is four wickets two in each innings and a useful knock of 32 coming in at No.10 which helped Somerset take a first innings lead. Having joined the county side late,Chawla has played four first-class matches so far scoring 231 runs in six innings at an average of 38.5 which includes a century against Middlesex at the Lords. The leggie has also taken 17 wickets including a match-haul of 10-for against Derbyshire.
