South Africa captain Johan Botha produced another fine bowling performance to lead his team to victory by 17 runs in the second Twenty20 International on Sunday. Though South Africa had been restricted to 156/5,Australias batsmen could only manage 139/8 in reply as the home side went on to seal a 2-0 win.
Off-spinner Botha took 2/16 in his four overs,slowing the tourists progress as soon as he came on to bowl in the middle of the innings.
Eight balls earlier,Man of the Match Roelof van der Merwe had grabbed the important wicket of David Hussey. Earlier,when South Africa batted,Van der Merwe struck two fours and four sixes in an entertaining 48 off 30 balls.
