Blackburn Rovers won 3-2 against Wolverhampton Wanderers with both teams

Blackburn Rovers won 3-2 against Wolverhampton Wanderers with both teams,fighting the relegation battle,managed to hang on to their places in the Premier League on the last day of the season on Sunday. The Wolves maintained their status after Birmingham lost 2-1 at Tottenham and Blackpool was beaten 4-2 by Manchester United as the pair went down with West Ham. Jason Roberts,Brett Emerton and David Hoilett fired Blackburn into a 3-0 lead at halftime. Jamie O’Hara and Stephen Hunt pulled back goals for Wolves in the second half.

Elsewhere,Aston Villa beat Liverpool 1-0,Man City beat Bolton 2-0,Everton beat Chelsea 1-0,Fulham drew Arsenal 2-2,Newcastle drew WBA 3-3,Wigan beat Stoke 1-0 and Sunderland beat West Ham 3-0.
