The film’s been quite a rave, and a bottle of champagne was round the corner. Pop it went as Madhur Bhandarkar and the team of his hit film, Fashion, got together for a gala evening to celebrate its success. UTV Motion Pictures and Bhandarkar Entertainment’s ‘haute’ party saw the starcast of Fashion including Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut, Mugdha Godse, Arjan Bajwa, Arbaaz Khan, Rohit Roy, Kittu Gidwani and Sameer Soni along with the director and co-producer Madhur, his wife Renu, and producer Ronnie Screwwala. The social circuit also saw Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ashoke Pandit, Malaika Arora Khan, Neetu Chandra, Vipul Shah, Ramesh Sippy, Kunal Kohli, Anurag Basu, Ken Gosh, Salim-Suleman, Shibani Kashyap, Sudhir Mishra, Shama Sikandar, fashion designer Rita Dhodhy and Narendra Kumar Ahmed, Smita Thackeray and Poonam Mahajan. “My movies hold up a mirror to society, they are not judgemental, I just show what happens in our society, sometimes it offers a solution, and sometimes there’s none,” Bhandarkar defines his film as a ‘blend of fiction and real life, one’s journey to the top’. “Fashion has been an unforgettable journey for me,” he adds. All praises for his team, Bhandarkar raises a toast to them: “It has been a pleasure working with such a talented cast and crew. Priyanka was amazing and so was Kangna. Mugdha’s made a perfect debut, all her shots were taken in a single take. Arjan too was fabulous.I hope I continue to live upto the audiences’ perception.”
