Veerappan8217;s second daughter V. Prabha can return to her school in Cuddalore after the mourning period is over.

When contacted, the principal of St Joseph8217;s Matriculation School, Ebbie Benny, said the 12-year-old could rejoin the school 8216;8216;anytime she wished and there was no problem8217;8217;.

Veerappan8217;s lawyer, Chandrasekhar, said: 8216;8216;The school authorities informed me today they will take back Prabha.8217;8217; After the authorities received the news of Veerappan8217;s encounter, a staffer verbally informed Chandrasekhar to 8216;8216;take Prabha8217;s transfer certificate and go8217;8217;, as they feared frequent visits by the police and media.

NGO World Vision of India has assured the school authorities of bearing Prabha8217;s education expenses.
