CHANDIGARH, April 29: The annual prize distribution function of Government Polytechnic for Women, Sector 10, was held here today in the Institute8217;s premises.More than 100 students were given prizes in various disciplines of academics and sports. R. K. Jain, Chief Engineer, UT Administration, who was the chief guest on the occasion released a brochure containing complete information on the courses being offered by the institute, the eligibility criteria and job opportunities.
S. K. Aggarwal, Director, Technical Education, was also present during the function. Principal Balbir Singh read the annual report. A cultural function was presented by the girls of the institute.
