PM invites Sunita

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday told astronaut Sunita Williams that her achievements had made India proud and invited her to meet him. In a telephonic conversation with the NASA astronaut, Manmohan Singh said she was a role model for children and a source of inspiration for women in India, a Government statement said. The Prime Minister congratulated Sunita on her unique achievement and her contribution to the human quest for a better understanding of our universe, the statement said.
