PM expresses concern over Sharon illness

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has conveyed his concern at the highest level over Israeli counterpart Ariel Sharon8217;s illness through the Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv.

India was among the first countries along with the US, the UK, Germany and Russia to convey its concern. However the government only made this public on Friday.
