NEW DELHI, OCT 6: Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee today asked his cabinet colleagues and well wishers not to call on him after his knee-operation at the Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai on October 10.

The Prime Minister made this request during a Cabinet meeting, saying visits from ministers and other VIPs would cause inconvenience to other patients in the hospital and general public.

Home Minister L K Advani wished the Prime minister all the best for the operation and speedy recovery on behalf of all his Cabinet colleagues.

Vajpayee will be undergoing left knee joint replacement surgery, which will be performed by New York-based orthopaedic surgeon Dr Chittaranjan Ranawat and his team.
