CHANDIGARH, Oct 15: Neeti Khanna has indeed matured over the past one year. For the canvases that she had exhibited last year had a rawness about them though one could spot the promise and potential trying to emerge. And today at the Indus Ind Art Gallery in Sector 8, that potential and talent ruled the roost for Neeti has woven her pieces in an alluring play of pleasing hues.

Neeti, a product of the Delhi College of Fine Arts, has brought out her collection of paintings in mixed media and the creation in crayon and acrylic have a charm of their own. In sober shades, the paintings are all about shapes and colours or the intermingling of these two but Neeti has deftly crafted countenances into this scheme of things too. Neeti, a B Ed from Pondicherry University, teaches at the D.A.V. Public School in Sector 8 and just loves to experiment with her medium. With the result that a few in the present collection are ideal for a living room.

The exhibition will be on for the next 15 days.
