CHANDIGARH, April 23: Legal action will be initiated by the Regional Provident Fund PF Office against establishments which fail to deposit their dues by the stipulated dates. According to the Regional PF Commissioner, M L Meena establishments which fail to submit annual returns Form 3A/6A will be liable for legal action under Section 14 of the employees8217; Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act. No further notice will be served to defaulters.

Though annual PF returns for the year 1997-98 are required to be submitted by April 30, Meena said that those establishments who have failed to do so could file returns by May 15.
