Parthiv Patel knows he has a tough task ahead of him if he wants to make a comeback to the Indian team. He also knows that MS Dhoni and Dinesh Kaarthick are not leaving much room for him.
Back from a triumphant tour of Zimbabwe and Kenya with the India A team, he said: 8220;I am not expecting to make my way back to the Indian team. I wasn8217;t expecting it before the India A tour also. I just wanted to do well. And I believe if I keep doing well, I will be rewarded sooner or later.8221;
The 22-year-old added: 8220;I know Dhoni and Dinesh are doing exceedingly well now. I need luck to come back. You need luck every time you play for India. But luck is not everything, you need to perform as well.8221;
On his improved batting, he said: 8220;Everybody notices if you do well with the bat. See all are taking about my three centuries. But to me 8216;keeping is equally important.8221;
