Pereira stuns GSA

MUMBAI, JAN 16: Santan Periera8217;s first-half solitary strike goal against Rashtriya Chemicals Fertilzers RCF saw Goan Sports Association GSA win three points in Group II of the second GSA Veteran Football Association at their home ground. In the first match of the day, Mumbai Port Trust MPT played a 1-1 draw against Karnataka Sports Club KSC and later in the day MPT again played a draw against Century Rayon with scores reading the same.

KSC leads the group I points table with five points while Century Rayon and Tata Sports Club with four points each are settled at second spot.

Khar Gym drub Lamp;T: KHAR Gymkhana drubbed Larsen and Tourbo SC 6-0 in the Bombay Hockey Association League second division match sponsored by Punjab National Bank at the Khalsa Ground today.

Puran Singh drew the first blood in the 29th minute. After change of ends substitute Shiv Dutt scored thrice and sealed Khar Gym8217;s victory. Sunil Kumar and Ganesh Pillay added a goal each.
