The Pakistan Cricket Board today announced cash incentives for the contracted players for showing loyalty to the national team by resisting lucrative offers from the breakaway Indian Cricket League. The PCB would award cash prizes in the range of 100,000, 50,000 and 25,000 to the 17 players who have been given central contracts in three categories.
The Board also announced cash awards for the Under-19 cricketers who recently did well on the tour of England. 8220;This is our way of appreciating those players who have signed the central contracts and not been tempted to join elsewhere,8221; PCB chairman Naseem Ashraf, said.
