Paswan wants a regulator

Steel minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Thursday said the ministry is monitoring steel prices, but if it continues to go up unjustifiably, then necessary steps including appointing a regulator would be taken. 8220;I have already written to the Prime Minister suggesting certain steps to contain the recent rise in steel prices. We are constantly reviewing the situation and if it is found that steel makers have increased prices more than the rise in input costs, then a regulator might be needed,8221; he said.
