CHANDIGARH, MARCH 9: While the local unit of the BJP has criticised the Congress on the issue of imposition of President Rule in Bihar, many other political parties have blamed the BJP for it.In a statement, while local unit of BJP has stated that the Congress has got exposed on the issue, the local units of the Samajwadi Party and Rashtriya Janata Dal have accused the BJP for its attitude on the Bihar issue.

BJP spokesperson Ranjana Shahi said in a statement that the Congress by supporting the quot;corruptquot; Rabri Devi government in Bihar had betrayed the people of the state after it stated that the Rabri Devi government had lost moral support to govern. BJP general secretary Mahavir Prasad also stated that by doing so the Congress had exposed itself that they were only after grabbing power.In another statement, local unit president of Rashtriya Janata Dal, V.S.T. Malik said that the BJP had no right to rule, as it adopted quot;dictatorial measuresquot;. He also sought the resignation of Home minister L.K. Advani.

The local unit president of Samajwadi Party Shivi Jaiswal, while welcoming the revoking of President rule in Bihar, accused the BJP of insulting the Lok Sabha after it introduced the Bill and later revoked it. He also demanded the recalling of the Bihar Governor.
