The Minister said a similar message had been delivered to Pakistan in an obvious reference to his delivering a letter from Premier Tony Blair to Nawaz Sharif on Monday.

Fatchett said the Security Council members were already involved in pulling back India and Pakistan from nuclear weaponisation and addedthe recently set up task force of G-8 would maintain to monitor progress on the nuclear front in the region.

8220;We will consider what further action has to be taken,8221; the British Minister told the House of Commons on Wednesday.

He said Britain recognised the Kashmir issue to be at the heart of differences between New Delhi and Islamabad.
