
Policenen were stationed at Pepsi and Coke godowns in the city on Sunday following attacks in Surat the day before. Police Commissioner of Vadodara, Deepak Swarup, said this was just a precautionary measure.
In Surat, Bajrang Dal activists had burnt Pepsi and Coke vans and also raided the godowns to protest against US8217; visa denial to Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, both Pepsi and Coke distributors in the city are keeping a low-profile. Coke distributor Arif Shaikh said they had decided not to supply stock to the retailers on Sunday.
Pepsi distributor Manu Lulla said, 8216;8216;We don8217;t expect any problems as we are located in Warasia, though other distributors are just being careful.8217;8217;
