Top seeds Leander Paes and Paul Hanley rallied from a set down to defeat second seeds Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram 5-6 5, 6-1, 6-2 to win the 550,000 Thailand Open doubles title.
The victory gave Paes his third title of the season, the Indian having previously won two titles in 2005 with Nenad Zimonjic at Monte Carlo Masters and Barcelona.
8220;It8217;s been a few months since I8217;ve won a title and it shows once again when I play Davis Cup I usually carry into the next event which I8217;ve done here and won the title,8221; Paes said.
For Hanley, it was his fourth title of the year.
