MUMBAI, OCTOBER 25: Wild card entrant Oormila Ram of Andhra Pradesh shocked fourth-seeded state rival Poonam Reddy in three sets to enter the quarter-finals of the girls under 18 singles in the Adidas AITA Juniors Tennis tournament here on Wednesday.Oormila ousted Poonam, who has six AITA points to her credit, 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 to earn a quarter-final meeting with sixth seed Anuja Parikh of Maharashtra who got past wild card recipient Sonali Sanap, also of Maharashtra, 6-2, 7-6 (tie break 7-3) in another pre-quarter-final clash.Top seed Medini Sharma thrashed fellow-Maharashtra player Aditi Vasant without dropping a game and will now take on fifth seed Gangotri Sandri, who drubbed Anjani Kant of Delhi 6-1, 6-0, in another quarter-final tie.
