It8217;s war. The latest story doing the rounds in Bollywood is that a prominent camp has sab-otaged Vishal Bharadwaj8217;s Omkara. Now, the camp allegedly consists of a hotshot director and a superstar whose film released this Fri-day. Apparently, Ajay Devgan feels that the duo is not happy with the film8217;s critical ac-claim. Devgan and his producer/manager Ku-mar Mangat are even claiming that women audiences are being paid to leave the theatres. And that Omkara has done a booming business of Rs 31 crore in its first week. Tch Tch. When will the boys grow up?

Caesar to follow Othello

While on Vishal, in all probability his next is yet another Shake-speare adaptation. This time, he has set his eyes on Julius Caesar. The hunt is on to get the perfect Roman. Buzz is that Ajay Devgan and Aamir Khan are being discussed. Forget JC, we want to know who plays Brutus since he has always been considered the real hero of the tragedy.

Mommy? Not me

It seems Shilpa Shetty doesn8217;t want to play a mother on screen. At least that8217;s what she told a reputed producer who approached her with a script. Sexy Shetty flatly refused even a nar-ration. Such demands when she has such little work? By the way, Salman Khan8217;s Lucky co-star Sneha Ullal should get a lifetime Oscar. At 18, she is playing mom to a 6-year-old child in Aryan. Come to think of it, even she is virtu-ally jobless! Ah well, it8217;s all about perception, isn8217;t it?

Real to Reel

Madhur Bhandarkar is vindicated. His film Corporate had recently incurred the wrath of the business community, especially trade chamber Assocham that issued a strong statement saying the movie shows Corpo-rate India in bad taste by portraying indus-trial houses as 8216;8216;ruthless and heartless8217;8217;. But now, with the recent reports that indicate presence of pesticides in soft drinks, Bhan-darkar can8217;t stop grinning. 8216;8216;I8217;m getting calls that what Rang De Basanti did for the Jessica Lall case, my film has done for the pesticides issue,8217;8217; he says. Interesting.
