The ICC has asked the Pakistan team management to avoid holding press conferences in the Urdu language as it consumes a lot of time. A source in the team disclosed that media manager Pervez Mir and manager Talat Ali had been told to hold their news conferences in English.

“He (ICC media manager Brian Murgatroyd) has told the team that the ICC can’t allow the players to address conferences in Urdu as the process of then translating takes a long time and the ICC has fixed times,” one source said.
