CHANDIGARH, Oct 28: The UT Police today ordered the promotions of nine head constables to Assistant Sub-Inspectors. Those promoted are Fateh Singh, Mohinder Singh, Satish Kumar, Tarsem Singh, Sarup Singh, Chattar Singh, Dharam Pal, Jai Bhagwan and Pratap.
Meanwhile, Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime S.C. Abrol is being given an additional charge of operational control over Police Control Room. The orders, issued today, said it was being done quot;from the point of view of crime control in the city.quot;
