HYDERABAD, DECEMBER 14: The Naxalites of the banned Peoples8217; War Group PWG went on a rampage attacking properties belonging to government and ruling TDP leaders at various places in Andhra Pradesh since late last night even as security was tightened in view of tomorrow8217;s bandh8217; call by PWG to protest killing of its three top leaders in an alleged police encounter.

Police said the ultras blasted a telephone exchange with powerful explosives at Nootimadudgu village in Anantapur district to protest the killing of Nalla Adireddy, PWG8217;s central committee member and two others in a police encounter under Tadicherla forest area in Karimnagar district on December 2.

Early today, a group of ultras asked the watch and ward staff of mandal development office building in Kanaganapalli village in the same district to vacate it and blew it off by planting and trigerring explosives.

Ultras also threatened guards of a forest guest house in Kamarapalli village in Nizambad district and blasted it last night, police said adding the extremists ransacked the house of zilla parishad territorial ZPTC member and TDP activist Ashok and damaged the household articles including utensils and furniture at Pannari village in Adilabad district.

In another incident, ultras barged into a cinema house owned by a local TDP worker near Gannavaram village in Guntur district and damaged the projector kept in a small room. Nobody was attacked or injured during the raid, police added.
