MUMBAI, OCT 2: Only a few matches were held in the WMI-Little Masters Junior Squash as a power-cut forced organisers to cancel matches and stretch the tournament by another day.
Of the matches held, under-17 top seed Junaid Nathani won 10-8, 9-7, 5-9, 9-4 in the semi-final. The second semis between second seed Neerav Tomar and third seed Vishal Kapoor had to be stopped with Tomar leading 2-1 and 6-all in the fourth game.
Results: Boys (U-19, QF): Mihir Kapoor bt Supreet Singh 9-3, 9-3, 9-3; Mahesh Verma bt Tej Singh 9-4, 1-9, 9-4, 2-9, 9-7. (U-17 SF): Junaid Nathani bt Sahil Vora 10-8, 9-7, 5-9, 9-4. (U-15 QF): Rishabh Singhvi bt Rahil Shah 9-2, 9-4, 9-2; Karan Sethi bt Rushabh Vora 9-1, 9-6, 9-0.
