Interpersonal skills meet

Elocution meet finals
The finals of the 54th Inter school English Elocution Competition 1998, were successfully conducted by the Bandra Gymkhana on Saturday, March 7. Chief guest Reverend Father Lawrie Ferrao, Principal, St Stanislaus High School, Bandra, complimented the organisers Hyginus Correa President and Nelson Pereira Hon Literary Secretary and the committee for providing encouragement and support to school-going children to exhibit their oratory skills. Cathedral John Connon scored highest in the aggregate girls category, and Don Bosco in the boys category.
Paraplegics8217; sports meet
The Paraplegic Foundation,caring for individuals who are permanently disabled below the waist, has organised the sixth National Sports Meet on March 20, 21 and 22 in the foundation premises. The organisation has been holding this event for the last 28 years.
Public toilet constructed
A public toilet for street children was inaugurated by Dr Usha Mehta recently. The toilet will be operated by quot;Supportquot;, an organisation working for the welfare of street children. Inner Wheel and the Rotary Club provided support to construct the toilet.
