Cultural workshop
Udayan, an arts and culture organisation will hold a workshop for the benefit of underprivileged children at Horniman Circle gardens between May 13 and 14 from 9.30 am to 6 pm. The workshop will be organised by volunteers from Committed Action For Relief amp; Education CARE.Around 45 children from three projects in Mumbai 8211; Shraddha, YUVA and Amchi Kholi 8211; are expected to participate in this workshop which will include resource persons such as Viday Patwardhan, Vijay Khumbar and others.
Sessions on pottery, theatre, handicrafts using recycled material as well money management and public relations on the street will be taught to street children. The afternoon sessions will include a telematch and antakshri sessions where celebrities like Durga Jasraj, Shankar Mahadevan and Taufiq Qureshi are expected to participate.
