
Condolence meet at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan
A prayer meeting will be held at the Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan on August 25 at 6 pm to pay homage to late Sanskrit vidwan Acharya Bhaishankar Purohit. Purohit was former principal of the Bhavan8217;s Mumbadevi Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya.
Self-development course
The Bombay Adult Education Association will start a self development course for higher achievement. The six-week course, to be conducted by Dr R C Shah every Friday at 6 pm, will commence from August 28. IA launches new scheme
The Indian Airlines has introduced a new package tour scheme for tourism promotion through its approved agents and tour promoters, which offers a 15 per cent disount for a minimum of four full fare paying passengers taking a round or circular trip on domestic sectors.
All members of the group should travel together on the entire itinerary, and re-routing will not be permitted after the commencement of the tour except on voluntary basis. Agatti, Leh and Port Blair are not included in the scheme.
Even tour promoters not approved by the IA can get the ticketing done by IA or its authorised agents. The package starts with immediate effect upto September 30.
