Poll-eve blasts accused chargesheeted

The 11 accused involved in the bomb explosions at four places in the suburbs on the eve of the general election polling were today chargesheeted in the metropolitan court. Two persons had died and nine injured in the incident. Additional metropolitan N B Pharkar adjourned the hearing on June 11.

Mishap-free service award

Divisional Railway Manager (WR) Pankaj Malaviya awarded accident free service award to 54 employees. Fourteen employees were awarded with cash prize of Rs 1,000 and a merit certificate for 10 years accident free service while 24 employees were awarded with Rs 2,000 cash merit certificate for 20 year accident free service. Whereas 16 employees were awarded Rs 5,000 cash and merit certificate for lifetime accident free service award.

Free leucoderma camp at Vashi
