Concert for the President
In honour of the President KR Narayanan, Unity in Diversity8217;, a concert will be performed at the Shanmukhananda Auditorium on November 25 at 7.30 pm. Santoor exponent Satish Vyas, accompanied by Rupak Kulkarni flute, Niladri Kumar sitar, Ustad Shafat Ahmed Khan tabla, Bhavani Shankar pakhawaj and Mukund Deo tabla in the Hindustani music section will perform. Suma Sudhindra veena, TKKrishnamurthy violin, BK Chandramauli kanjira, Arjun Kumar mridangam and Hari Shankar ghatam will perform with vocals by Sanjeev Chimmalgi and Aparna Kelkar.

Poetry writing workshop
The British Council Library is conducting a workshop on creative poetry writing. Anju Makhija will guide children between the ages of 12 and 17 years at the British Council Theatre, C Wing, 2nd floor, Mittal Towers, Nariman Point on Nov 27. Participants can bring two of their best poems and register at the library.
