
SSC, HSC students8217; awarded
Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation presented merit awards and scholarships to the top three students in the SSC and HSC exams, 1999, from Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts on Saturday.
Awards were also given to toppers in the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE exams. Mumbai CBSE students, who were among the top ten in the state, were felicitated.
A scholarship and award for physically challenged appearing under the handicapped category of the Mumbai Divisional Board of Higher and Secondary Education was also given this year. The foundation is also planning to introduce post-graduate scholarships for students, Nita Ambani, chairperson of the Foundation said.
Anti-garbage CD-ROM
A CD-ROM on the insanitary conditions in Ulhasnagar produced by Rotary Club of Ulhasnagar Hills was released by Swami Devprakashji Maharaj on Friday. The documentary speaks of how citizens can prevent the accumulation of garbage.

Cardiology camp
A free cardiology camp has been organised by the Late M M Pinge memorial Committee and Shushrusha Hospital, Dadar, on November 21, for citizens above the age of 40 years. The camp will be held at Shushrusha Hospital between 5 and 7 pm.
