NDC team visits city

A team of the National Defence College NDC New Delhi arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday for a three-day visit. Headed by NDC Commandant Air Marshal VG Kumar, consisted of 90 officers from the army, navy, air force, civil and diplomatic services and foreign defence services.

The NDC is the country8217;s premier institution where senior armed forces officers interact with their civilian counterparts in government to achieve commonality of purpose in defence matters.

Lifeguard training

South Asia8217;s first Institute of Advanced Aquatic Training and Pool Management run by the YMCA will conduct a certificate course in lifeguard training from October 15 to 22 at the YMCA Proctor Branch Mumbai Central. The course will be conducted by Alex Cleveland, Lifeguard Trainer, YMCA of Greater Louisville USA. Certifications are issued through both the YMCA of Greater Louisville USA and the Bombay YMCA. Trekking camp to Sahyadari

Yuvashakti is organising a Mahabaleshwar Jungle Trek 8217;998217; in the Sahyadri region in Satara district from November 12 to 18.
