US immigrant visa dates
The American Consulate General has announced the cut-off dates for immigrant visas for Indians in two categories : family preference and employment preference. To qualify for an appointment, an applicant8217;s priority date must fall before the cut-off date. Under the family preference visa, availability for F1 visa, the cut off date is October 15, 1996; while for E1, E4, E5, the visa availability is current. For details, contact 3637407/8.
Ekta committee cricket match
Cricket for Peace, organised by the Mumbai Mohalla Ekta Committee and the Mumbai police, will be inaugurated on May 4 at Wilson College Gymkhana grounds at 9 am. The tournament was started in 1996 with the aim of encouraging interaction and friendship between young people of different communities.
