The Appellate Authority for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction AAIFR will hear on December 1 an appeal filed by Canara Bank challenging the order of the Board of Industrial and Financial Reconstruction BIFR, which had declared Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Ltd A B Corp a sick entity. In the appeal filed under Section 25 of the Sick Industrial Companies Provisions Act, 1985, Canara Bank has sought the quashing of the BIFRorder and directions for appointment of special auditors to probe A B Corp8217;s accounts for the last three years, its counsel Nishit Dhruve said.
