Engg student hangs self

A final year electronics engineering student hanged himself to death after failing in the examination. Mandar Bagwe 23, a student of Ramrao Adik Engineering College, Vashi, killed himself on May 12 at his Mahim residence. Mahim police recovered a suicide note from his house which said Mandar was frustrated after the result.

Income Tax raids Ad Labs

Searches by the Income Tax authorities on two film processing companies yielded concealed income of Rs 3 crore. Though IT sources refused to identify the names of the companies, industry sources said Ad Labs, one of the biggest firms in film processing and raw films, and Film Centre at Tardeo, were raided on Thursday and Friday.
