Even though he was locked in a battle with the Congress, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today ruled out reports of the Samajwadi Party withdrawing support from the UPA government at the Centre. He, however, said that he would review the Congress8217;s stand on issues concerning his government.

Last night there was some speculation that the SP may withdraw support to the UPA, with sources claiming that Mulayam may announce his decision in Lucknow.

Mulayam, however, said that the SP supported and would continue to support to the Manmohan Singh government to keep the communal forces out of power.

Talking to media persons, the CM also said that his phone had been tapped for the last year. He also asked his party leaders to monitor State Election Commission8217;s ongoing revision of electoral rolls.
