If film stars could light up the sky then everyone in Mumbai would have been blinded. On …day, three star kids came out together. In one place. At the launch of producer Vashu Bhagnani’s new film, Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai. At the filmi do one spotted Tushar Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor (both of whom will star in the film), and Abhishek Bachchan (who attended the event) mingling with guests. However, the timing of their first appearance was a little skewed. Kareena came in several hours late, while debutant Tushar arrived with daddy Jeetendra in tow very much on time. Hopefully, he’s going to remain as punctual for a long time to come. As for Kareena, seems like she’s picking up badi bahen Karisma’s worst habits…

Wedding bells

k, talk

It was nice to see such rivals as Shekhar Suman and Archana Puran Singh (both of whom have super-successful talk shows — Movers & Shakers and Archana Talkies — on Sony TV) enjoying a nice dinner together with their families at the Sampan. On Sunday night, Archana brought along husband Bittu (Parmeet Sethi) and her kids, while Shekhar chose to bring his parents instead. Not that he paid much attention to them. His focus was on bonding with Archana — perhaps he thought the cameras were still trained on him.

And finally …

It seems that on Saturday night everyone is all dressed up with no place to go to. Try getting a place at Indigo or Sidewok or Frangipani. Go there only if you like to lose your cool while waiting in queue. Fed up with the madding crowds celebs have started to head back to older haunts, places that were a favourite once upon a time. Like The Library Bar. This weekend, the five-star bar that has added a ghastly singer (who seems to have learnt how to dance in the same school) saw the likes of photographer Sumeet Chopra and theatre man Kunal Vijaykar downing a drink. Other wannabe socialites crowded the lobby and kept chatting on their cell phones telling those who weren’t there that the place was "rocking". MTV veejay Cyrus Broacha was the only person there who wasn’t having a good time. He stormed out of the bar with an equally disgusted lady friend hot on his heels. Nothing like a good spat to keep bystanders interested.
