Monsoon likely within two days

CHANDIGARH, June 16: The South-West Monsoon is likely to hit the City and the region in the next two days. The Monsoon were to earlier hit the City on June 29. According to local meteorological office, the S-W Monsoon have already advanced into South Haryana and Delhi and is likely to hit the City soon.

A heavy cloud has already engulfed the City and residents heaved a sigh of relief from the scorching heat. The local weather bulletin says quot;conditions are favourable for further advance of the South-West monsoon in City and the remaining parts of Haryana, Punjab and HP in the next two daysquot;.

Delhi experienced an early monsoon today this year. This is the earliest arrival of Monsoon in the last many decades.
