Mohali without electricity for third day

SAS NAGAR, May 14: The power supply to Phase IX, X and XI remained suspended for the third consecutive day today.

The supply to these areas went off on Wednesday evening following a technical snag in the power transformer in Phase IX. The PSEB officials, however, maintained that power supply to residential sectors had been restored by evening and the supply to industrial sectors will be released by tomorrow.

The new transformer from Sangrur has reached here, PSEB officials added.
