BANGALORE, February 10: The poor in Bangalore see a new hope for eye care, with the launch of a mobile laser treatment unit by the Rotary Club of Bangalore in association with the Maratha Medical and Educational Charitable Trust. The facility is claimed to be the first in India, and is equipped with a portable diode laser photo coagulator, two operation theatres and a sterilisation room.
