Medical camp held

CHANDIGARH, Sept 25: A total of 289 patients were examined here and treated in an anaemic testing and treatment camp was organised along with a free general medical camp in Raipur Khurd by Surya Foundation here today. A total of 59 blood samples were taken out of which 56 were found anemic. Consultant surgeon at CMC, Dr R.K.Sharma, Dr M.L.Sharma and foundation, director, Dr Ramneek Sharma attended to the problems of the patients and aoffered their valuable advice.

Hunger strike
The hunger strike by the employees of Punjab Land Development and Reclamation Corporation has entered into 17th day, today. The agitated employees burnt the effigies of Chairman and Managing Director of the corporation.
