Mansarovar yatra in June

NAINITAL, MARCH 11: The Kailash Mansarovar yatra pilgrimage trek will start in June this year and take its usual route from Pithoragarh district of Uttar Pradesh, official sources said here today.

The yatra is expected to begin in June and will go on till September during which 16 batches of 35 pilgrims each will visit the Kailash Mansarovar peak in China, the sources said.

The pilgrimage will be conducted jointly by the External Affairs Ministry and the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam, the sources said.

The cost per head would be about Rs 35,000, they added.
