PUNE, Dec 24: A fifty-five year old person was beaten to death by two persons in Mangalwar Peth area over a petty reason that he collided against them on Sunday night According to the police, the victim Kisan Kerba Sathe, a resident of 506, Rasta Peth, was walking along the road when he came across Rajesh Dnyanoba Ladkat 32 and Bunty alias Bhupendra Surendraprasad Bhonga 27, both residents of Somwar Peth. The duo allegedly beat Sathe and later took him in an autorickshaw and left him at Nagzari on the Aundh road.

Sathe who was found lying in an unconscious state the next day was rushed to the Sassoon general hospital for treatment. He passed away the same day.

The Samarth police carried out the investigations and detected the two persons who beat Sathe.
