Man killed in mishap

A 45-year-old man was killed in a mishap at the Wakad Octroi post, near Mula River, at the Mumbai Banglore Highway. The incident occurred at around 7 pm in the evening. The deceased has been identified as Anil Ingle, a resident of Gokul Nagar Warje, Pune. The police said that the deceased was riding his motorcycle, no. MH-12 CW 5188, and took a wrong turn from Hotel Shivratna, and then on the bridge near the Wakad Naka he struck a huge rock and fell down injuring himself seriously.

The pillion rider who was along with him, Raosaheb Sahane, 44, a resident of Shikshak Society, Pimple Nilakh, Pune, was injured. PSI L Bansode of the Hinjewadi Police Station is investigating the case.
