Bodhgaya: It is one of the most important spiritual destinations in the world. This is where Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. The Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracts pilgrims, monks and travellers seeking peace and reflection.

Nalanda: The region is known for the ruins of the ancient Nalanda University, once a global centre of learning. The site reflects Bihar’s rich academic and cultural history. Nearby museums help visitors understand how students from many countries once studied here.

Rajgir: The city is surrounded by green hills and is deeply linked to both Buddhism and Jainism. Lord Buddha delivered many sermons here, and Mahavira spent several years in the region. Hot springs, ropeway rides and ancient ruins make it a mix of spirituality and nature.
