Bihar's latest luxury caravan buses are priced at Rs 75 per kilometre
Bihar Tourism has officially launched its first-ever luxury caravan buses, redefining travel in the land of Bodh Gaya. The ministry recently posted a reel on Instagram, giving away all the details about this luxury bus. The initiative aims to offer travellers a five-star hotel-on-wheels experience, especially for those who prefer road trips without frequent hotel stays. The luxury caravan buses are equipped with premium amenities including private bedrooms, a kitchen, entertainment systems, air suspension, CCTV cameras and advanced safety features.
Priced at Rs 75 per kilometre with a minimum daily usage of 250 km (around Rs 20,000 per day), the service is designed for families, groups and tourists seeking a private and flexible travel experience.

If you too are planning to let the travel bug bite, here are a few must-visit destinations in Bihar that you can enjoy during your caravan trip!
Bodhgaya: It is one of the most important spiritual destinations in the world. This is where Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. The Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracts pilgrims, monks and travellers seeking peace and reflection.
Nalanda: The region is known for the ruins of the ancient Nalanda University, once a global centre of learning. The site reflects Bihar’s rich academic and cultural history. Nearby museums help visitors understand how students from many countries once studied here.
Rajgir: The city is surrounded by green hills and is deeply linked to both Buddhism and Jainism. Lord Buddha delivered many sermons here, and Mahavira spent several years in the region. Hot springs, ropeway rides and ancient ruins make it a mix of spirituality and nature.
Vaishali: The district holds great historical importance as one of the world’s earliest known republics. It is closely connected to Lord Mahavira and Buddhist history. Peace pagodas, ancient pillars and ruins tell stories of democracy and spirituality from centuries ago.
Valmiki Nagar: Located near the Indo-Nepal border, Valmiki Nagar is Bihar’s primary wildlife destination. The Valmiki Tiger Reserve is home to tigers, deer and many bird species. It’s ideal for those who want forests, rivers and a quiet escape into nature
