Amit Gupta and Reshmi Ghosh were in town recently and shared some interesting vignettes about their lives

They are a fair combination of good looks and talent, and while Amit Gupta has been making the girls go week-kneed with his cute appearance, Reshmi Ghosh smoulders the small screen with her sensuous eyes and dazzling smile.

A participanting jodi at the Nach Baliye competition this season, the couple was in town recently to commemorate the inclusion of Victorious Kidss Educares into the International Baccalaureate IB club. After they were done interacting with students, we caught up with Amit and Reshmi and quizzed them about how they met. In response, while Amit simply blushed, Reshmi answered, 8220;It was at an acting school that I bumped into him.8221; It was love at first sight for Amit but the sparks flew for Reshmi as well. Today, it has been five years since they have been together and wedding bells are ringing for the couple as they plan to get married after Nach Baliye.

Ask them what they feel about the strike by various TV workers8217; associations and Amit says, 8220;We are happy because it has given us a nice break, which we really needed.8221; He adds that it was Reshmi8217;s idea to come and spend some time at the school. 8220;I loved coming here as I am very fond of kids,8221; he says. Reshmi adds, 8220;The children here have given us a tremendous boost of energy, which we will take back with us and which was much-needed.8221;

And what about the rivalry amongst contestants of Nach Baliye? Pat comes the reply from Reshmi, 8220;We have no rivalry amongst ourselves and we make it a point to give each performance our best shot. We concentrate on that only.8221;

It8217;s not common knowledge that Reshmi was crowned Miss India Earth in 2002. Talking about that experience, she says, 8220;It was a beautiful experience and the training gave me so much confidence that I felt I could reach where Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita Sen, Priyanka Sen are today.8221; She adds that she got some offers to do films but right now she wants to concentrate on Nach Baliye only.

Reshmi and Amit say they are quite confident of winning the coveted title of Nach Baliye season four and that they are practicing a lot for it. They even put up a performance at the school when asked to, without any hesitation. Now, that is called commitment.
