CHANDIGARH, April 27: Various employees association of PUDA in a joint meeting, held today, under the presidentship of Sarbjit Singh Bhathal, have unanimously resolved that the post of the Chief Engineer, PUDA should be filled from among the senior PUDA engineers and should not be taken from amongst deputationists from other departments.
They pointed out that PUDA engineers were more capable and experienced8217;, compared to the deputationists. Later, the representatives of various associations met the Chief Administrator and demanded the same.
They further resolved that if the management did not fill the post of CE from PUDA engineers, they would be forced to take recourse to an agitation.
